UT System Regents to meet Monday

The University of Texas System Board of Regents will hold a special called meeting on Monday, Dec. 15, in Austin. The meeting will be held on the ninth floor of Ashbel Smith Hall, 201 W. 7th St.

The Board will convene in open session at 3:30 p.m. and immediately recess to executive session to discuss time-sensitive legal and personnel matters, including matters related to the ongoing independent investigation of admissions practices.

The Board will reconvene in open session at approximately 4:30 p.m. to consider action, if any, on executive session items and to discuss other matters.

The meeting is expected to adjourn at about 5 p.m.
