System Administration Task Force Organizational Assessment report released

In November 2017, Board of Regents Chairman Sara Martinez Tucker appointed a regents’ task force to review the structure and functions of the UT System Administration to ensure the highest degree of operational efficiency and effectiveness. The report is now posted on the UT System website.

Seven UT institutions to receive majority of CPRIT grants awarded statewide

Seven University of Texas institutions were among 16 statewide awarded grants from the Cancer Prevention & Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) to further efforts to fight cancer. Together, UT institutions will receive 39 grants totaling nearly $106 million—approximately 60 percent—of the $177 million in statewide awards recently announced by CPRIT.
