The University of Texas System Board of Regents Chairman Kevin P. Eltife today announced a $20 million investment in The University of Texas at El Paso to reestablish its Mining Engineering Program.

UT System Board of Regents announces plans to integrate UTSA and UT Health San Antonio into a premier global university to best serve Texas and the nation

The University of Texas System Board of Regents Chairman Kevin P. Eltife and the board authorized Chancellor James B. Milliken and the UT System to work with UT San Antonio President Taylor Eighmy and UT Health San Antonio Acting President Rob Hromas to integrate both institutions into one unified institution by 2025.

UT institutions’ athletes shine on world’s biggest stage

Student and alumni athletes from University of Texas institutions made an impressive impact at the XXXIII Olympiad in Paris, with 15 competitors from UT institutions winning 21 medals, including nine gold. If the UT System were its own nation, it would have ranked 12th in the overall medal count.
