It has been my experience that teaching and learning are intrinsically intertwined, in that they both occur simultaneously for both teacher and learner, even if this is not immediately apparent.
As a teacher, I encourage inquiry based on clear reasoning, concrete evidence, and open-mindedness. I am rewarded when learners realize that there are often multiple “right answers” to a problem, which depend largely on its historical context and current circumstances.
