I cannot think of a more rewarding profession than teaching. I receive great joy in the knowledge that I may have had an impact, no matter how small, on the lives and careers of my students.
It is my goal to make the learning process easier for my students, to make the personal connection that will spark the motivation to succeed. I hope my students truly do not learn from me, but rather take responsibility for their own learning. If they only attain their knowledge from me, they will forget it tomorrow, but if they “learn how to learn,” then they will have the tools for lifelong discovery.
