Effective teachers are those who teach lessons that transcend the classroom and stand the test of time.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in my belief that the goal of education should be more than the acquisition of facts from a textbook. An education should be a holistic experience; teaching lessons applicable beyond the walls of the classroom, demanding reflection of issues of ethics and morality, and empowering students to utilize classroom knowledge to impart change in themselves, their families, and their communities.
