Mieczyslaw K. Dabkowski, Ph.D.

Mieczyslaw K. Dabkowski received M.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Gdansk, Poland, in 1998 and Ph.D. in Mathematics from the George Washington University, Washington DC, in 2003. He is currently an Associate Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas. His research focus is in geometric topology, computability theory and Clifford algebra. He has over 25 research publications, has given several research talks, co-organized professional meetings and conferences, has supervised five doctoral theses, and has served on many departmental committees. Since his doctoral studies, Dr. Dabkowski has always been very interested in teaching, receiving teaching distinctions and awards: Distinguished Teaching Assistant Award, GWU, 2003, NS&M Teaching Award, UTD, 2009, President’s Outstanding Teaching Award, UTD, 2015. He has taught variety of classes, from introductory to advanced level in various mathematical disciplines (calculus, linear algebra, complex variables, differential equations, mathematical analysis, topology, abstract algebra, graph theory & combinatorics, etc.). He enjoys working with students. He has supervised several undergraduate projects and honors theses.
