Suzanne Alton, DNP, APRN

Dr. Suzanne Alton is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing (SON) at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB) where she teaches in the family nurse practitioner program. Dr. Alton began her teaching career in the 1980s in the Peace Corps. She then returned to the US and completed a nursing program, and is now happily combining teaching with primary health care. Dr. Alton practices at the UTMB Victory Lakes Urgent Care, and has been selected as a member of the UTMB Academy of Master Teachers and the Academy of Master Clinicians.
