Sometimes it can be hard to know just who to contact or go to when you need help on your UTSaver 403(b) Tax Sheltered Annuity or UTSaver 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan. Below are some useful resources for employees who are looking for specific help.

INSTITUTION HR AND BENEFITS OFFICES

Your local Human Resources or Benefits Office can help you with:

  • Starting, stopping, or changing your UTSaver contributions;
  • Transferring account balances from one provider to another within the UTSaver plans; and
  • Providing proof of termination if you need to access your accounts after you leave employment.

You can find phone and email information for all UT local benefit offices by visiting the Office of Employee benefits website here.

APPROVED PROVIDERS

Any of the approved UT Retirement providers can help you with:

  • Choosing your investment options;
  • Determining your long-term savings needs and goals;
  • Investing your contributions; and
  • Face-to-face counseling and valuable online investment tools;

You can find contact information for each provider here.

THE UT SYSTEM OFFICE OF EMPLOYEE BENEFITS RETIREMENT PROGRAM

Representatives with the UT Retirement Program here at UT System can help you with:

  • Loan or hardship applications from your retirement provider(s);
  • General plan questions or concerns; and
  • Complaints against specific providers or financial consultants.

You can contact the OEB directly by phone at (512) 499-4616 and ask for the Retirement Program, or you can fax us at (512) 579-5016.  You can also email us at utretirement@utsystem.edu.

The answers are out there for any retirement planning questions you may have, and hopefully these resources will make the job of finding those answers easier.
