Academy now has a “Team of Teams” sign, which has its military heritage anchored in locations where deployed troops go forward

Senior Law Enforcement officials from Mexico tour the UTSP Academy while visiting Texas.

The 2016 Chancellor's Trophy Pistol Match has come to an end with 12 teams representing 8 of our campuses competing for the top spot. The 24 shooters represented a great cross section of the UTSP, including first year officers as well as seasoned veterans. Captain Mike McCord, UT Arlington PD, won the individual award with Ofc. Carlos Guzman, UT Houston PD, and Ofc. Jeff George, UT Arlington PD, placing 2nd and 3rd respectively. The 2016 Chancellor’s Trophy winner was UT Arlington Police Department!
