In addition to his work as a research professor in the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin, Raj is a documentary filmmaker, co-host of the food politics podcast The Secret Ingredient, and author of the books Stuffed and Starved and The Value of Nothing. Raj’s latest book, co-authored with Jason W. Moore, is published by the University of California Press and entitled A History of the World in Seven Cheap Things: A Guide To Capitalism, Nature and the Future of the Planet. Raj has degrees from Cornell University, the London School of Economics and the University of Oxford.
