Timekeepers provide valuable support to their office by helping to ensure compliance with laws and policy. They provide assistance to employees and managers in the areas of time reporting and leave balances.
Timekeeper Responsibilities:
- Ensure timesheets are submitted and approved within 90-days
- Ensure hourly staff timesheets are submitted and approved in accordance with the Payroll Schedule
- Review timesheets to help ensure compliance with policies
- Train new employees on leave request & time reporting requirements and systems
- Assist employees and managers with time reporting and leave balance matters
- Notify OTI of leave matters such as medical leave or extended leave
