UT System provides many resources to help you plan for your retirement. In addition, our approved providers are on hand to help with contributions and investments to help keep you financially fit.
Mandatory Programs
All UT System employees must participate in one of the following programs based on eligibility.
Teacher Retirement System (TRS)
Optional Retirement Program (ORP)

Voluntary Programs
Additional plans are available for employees who wish to make tax deferred contributions to supplement their state retirement benefits.
UTSaver Tax Sheltered Annuities (TSA): Voluntary participation in a 403(b) plan.
UTSaver Deferred Compensation Plan (DCP): Voluntary participation in a 457(b) plan
