The University of Texas System Advancement Academy, launched in February 2015, provides ongoing professional training and educational programs to all UT institution advancement professionals with the goal of helping them maximize philanthropic support at their respective institutions. The Advancement Academy offers a broad array of services, including personalized training specific to campus needs and requests, no-cost professional education in all areas of development and advancement services, exposure to national best practices in leading edge development practices, customized performance and productivity assessments, and campaign support and audits. The Advancement Academy offers a regularly scheduled slate of professional development programs as well as specialized services to all development professionals who request them, from entry-level newcomers to senior executives.
