More than 500 communications, media relations, philanthropy and advancement services professionals from every University of Texas institution attended the UT System’s 2024Advancement AcademyConference on December 11 and 12 in Austin. The biennial professional development summit was designed specifically to boost attendees’ expertise, effectiveness and impact in their work at UT institutions statewide.
National experts and industry leaders shared their insights and best practices across a range of relevant conference sessions. In addition to 20 breakout sessions, the event featured general sessions, roundtable discussions and networking opportunities that helped UT colleagues learn, connect and collaborate with one another.
The event concluded with a luncheon hosted by Chancellor JB Milliken, who presented the Chancellor’s Excellence Awards recognizing outstanding efforts in advancement services, fundraising, media relations and communications.
