Tactics and Strategies for Hybrid Managersis a two-hour workshop designed for any managers (first-time supervisors to senior leaders), working with all sizes of teams, who wish to hone their management skills in this unique time of frequent change and disruption. The session will cover several specific topics through both a strategic and tactical lens. Content will include:
The Role of a Manager: Participants evaluate skills required for good managers/leaders to be effective and reflecting on ways to adapt to other individuals and unique situations.
Assessing Team Member Performance: Participants leverage key assessment tools for evaluating team members, and then determining next steps for recognition of high performance and/or performance improvement coaching. This will specifically address opportunities to provide recognition and to enhance retention of team members.
Developing Performance Goals and Accountability: Participants develop position-specific goals, providing instructive feedback, and resolving real-life challenges. Specific issues associated with remote work, underperformers, and creating a culture of accountability will be addressed.
Key Action Items and Reflection: Time will be included for establishing immediate next step action items and reflection on application of the principles discussed.
