The duties of The University of Texas Benefits Advisory Committee (BAC) are to coordinate and work with The Office of Employee Benefits (OEB) to coordinate and correlate the administration of the group insurance programs among the various institutions and to provide a channel for open communication of ideas and suggestions regarding the employee insurance benefits provided by the uniform group benefit program. Members of BAC are made up of one elected and one appointed representative from each UT institution to serve a two-year term.
The advisory committee meets three times each year, usually in October, January, and May. Employees may contact their campus representatives about topics they would like addressed.
