We offer resources to help you quit for good!

Quitting tobacco is difficult and one of the most significant steps you can take to reduce your risk for chronic disease. When you're ready to quit, we're here to help! The University of Texas System is committed to helping smokers quit by offering UT SELECT Medical Members FREE smoking/tobacco cessations programs, pharmaceutical therapy and nicotine replacement therapy.  Visit our Tobacco Cessation Resources page to learn how you can access professional counseling, nicotine and non-nicotine medications, and special programs for military personnel and their families.  

National Cancer Institute. 1-877-44U-QUIT (1-877-448-7878). Smoking cessation counselors from the National Cancer Institute are available to answer smoking-related questions, Monday - Friday 8:00am-8:00pm EST. Asesores para dejar de fumar del cáncer Institue Nacional están disponibles para responder a preguntas relacionadas con el tabaquismo, lunes - viernes 8:00am-8:00pm EST.
