Hannah D. Huckaby
Assistant General Counsel
Hannah D. Huckaby is an Assistant General Counsel in the General Law Section of the Office of General Counsel where she specializes in the collection and litigation of student loans and other debts on behalf of the System's institutions as well as advising institutions on student financial aid and debt collection issues.
Ms. Huckaby earned a BA in history with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma and a JD with honors from the University of Texas School of Law. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Following graduation from law school in 1993 and prior to joining the Office of General Counsel in 1994, she worked as a Congressional intern and White House volunteer.
